TREATMENT FOR STROKE IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM
Cerevast Therapeutics is developing a revolutionary treatment for acute ischemic stroke using a combination therapy, known as sonothrombolyis, or SonoLysis for short. This treatment consists of microspheres used in conjunction with approved lytics and a unique Hands-Free Transcranial Doppler (HF-TCD) ultrasound device.
Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Redmond, Washington, Cerevast will provide emergency room practitioners with the tools they need to treat this devastating disease.
